Baptism and Thanksgiving
Welcoming a new member into the family of faith whether a child or adult, is alsways a cause for joy and celebration
Having your baby baptised (or Christened as some call it) is a wonderful occasion where the Church receives your child into the Christian faith, into God’s family and the life of the worshipping community. This is why Baptisms are held during one of our 10am Sunday morning Services.
If you’d like to have your child baptised, or maybe a simple thanksgiving service, we’d love to talk with you.
Adults are also able to be Baptised at St Mary's.
Whenever it happens, whether as a baby, child or adult, baptism is at the heart of an amazing journey of faith as a follower of Jesus Christ. You are never too old to take this step, and being baptised as an adult is a wonderful experience.
